flower profile and essence creation story:

The day that this essence was created was a personal day of silence, unplanned but surely welcomed. The deep receptivity that these flowers activated me with were ones that helped to further affirm that this essence is indeed the one that corresponds to Key 2 : The High Priestess. Spanish needles, when used in tincture, infusion, or other more directly medicinal form, has the capacity to treat womb and kidneys, heart and stomach. Their essence translates well as one to help us properly synthesize information through the relative portals within the body. Continuing the process of crafting the essence, I noted bees continuously coming to the bowl to kiss the flowers. It felt like they were adding of their own essence to this water. It felt clear, like they were instructing me on the potential of this flower as one capable of being internally silent while remaining diligent in their duties and simultaneously buzzing through life, as the bee who knows exactly what they are doing. My mental querying went further into investigating why this flower which appears so abundantly and everywhere, and thus seems ‘loud’ in their disposition could correspond to The High Priestess, and immediately the word “ancestors” came to my mind, so I figured this one would be one to help us become more aware of who our specific ancestors are, where they have been, yet it wasn’t until I began to work with the essence directly that it made sense why this is the case. Since beginning the work with Ancestral Apparitions, many of my ancestors, some distant and some close, some from the North American continent and others not, have revealed themselves. The ways through which they have is where the magick lies as this is an essence that really imparts a recognition of instant intuition and insight when it arises. The way things are revealed with this essence is very subtle and silent, so it invites us into a level of presence that is easily missed in the havoc and rush rush motion of the current society. Continuing the work with this essence, we find that they help to enhance the vividness of dream recollection — that is another of their instant effects; it was something experienced the same first night it was used. Spanish needles flower essence is also ideal for strengthening our aura and etheric bodies so that we encounter less of the energies that would be imposing on our boundaries.
