Botellas are a traditional preparation of medicinal herbs used in the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico to heal various ailments and health complaints. This preparation is rooted in African and Indigenous practices, and is a practice passed down through generations and used to support and heal communities throughout the Caribbean.

Join Elsie Lopez of Gold Water Alchemy and Brandon Ruiz of Yucayeke Farms in a digital workshop discussing the history, uses and traditions behind botella making. Participants will learn about common ingredients, healing histories and how to make their own botella.
